a cappella in Edinburgh

Rudsambee is a group of about twenty singers based in Edinburgh. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning "anything at all". Read more about us.

We are currently seeking a new musical director to take over when Ollie Singleton leaves us.

You can hear us next on Thursday 16th February in the National Portrait Gallery, Queen Street, Edinburgh, at 6pm in a 45-minute concert with no admission charge.

For more of our future concerts, see here.

Our latest CD, A flea in the ear, was released in December 2010.

Our June concert raised a total of £525 (including gift-aid) for St Columba's Hospice and Drake Music Scotland - an Edinburgh-based charity which creates opportunities across Scotland for over 6000 children and adults with disabilities to compose, learn and perform music independently. Many thanks to our extremely generous audience.

If you would like us to sing for a function or event, there's information on our contact page.

If you're interested in singing with us, there's information here.

We enjoy occasional exchange visits with groups of singers from elsewhere. If you think your group may be compatible in size and style, and you'd enjoy a trip to Edinburgh, then you are very welcome to get in touch with us.
