a cappella in Edinburgh

Rudsambee is a group of about twenty singers based in Edinburgh. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning "anything at all". Read more about us.

Our latest CD what are they doing? is now available.

If you would like us to sing for a function or event, there's information on our contact page.

We are currently looking for a tenor and one or two basses to join us.

Our Cloudburst concert (Saturday 6th June, in the Reid Concert Hall of the University of Edinburgh) raised £977.60 in donations towards the work of Arts for Well-Being: Children of the Balkans Society, and that will be boosted by a tax-aid refund. Congratulations and sincere thanks to everyone who took part - our wonderful audience; Holy Trinity Handbells from Haddington; all the other volunteer instrumentalists; and Ollie for inspiring and leading us through an astonishing repertoire that culminated with Eric Whitacre's amazing Cloudburst. Rudsambee will cover all the expenses of the event from its own funds, so every penny raised will go to Arts for Well-Being.
