... is looking for a Bass and a Tenor.

Rudsambee is an Edinburgh-based a cappella choir. We perform a wide variety of music, whether it be folk songs from Iceland or the Balkans or choral music, from Tallis to Whitacre.

We are currently looking for a Bass and a Tenor.

This year we are visiting the Czech Republic (June 19th to 22nd). Travel will cost around £100; meals and accommodation will be free. Another current project is recording our fifth CD.

We rehearse in Morningside on Wednesday evenings. We need the ability to sing in tune, but we don't demand trained voices. Reading music is a requirement, but singing accurately at first sight is not essential. We do expect a degree of commitment - attending rehearsals, and arriving on time. In return, we offer plenty of musical activity and satisfaction, and a good deal of sociable fun as well. See, for instance, the 2004 winter beach barbecue at Arisaig.
